The mainstream media made up its hive-mind weeks ago to stop covering Ron Paul in the 2012 election.

The GOP establishment appears to have been committing election fraud for months now.

I just want to say… it doesn’t even matter. Those of us who’ve been awakened to the message of Liberty as defined in our nation’s founding documents, and as so plainly articulated by Ron Paul, will not be settling for an establishment marionette.

Romney? Santorum? Obama? It’s like choosing between red,  crimson and scarlet. I mean, is there really much difference?

I will be writing Ron Paul in on my ballot this coming November.

If Obama ends up winning, OH WELL. That’s just TOO BAD.

GOP, you will have reaped the corruption you have sown.

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul took a break from campaigning today and diverted his attention back to his role on the House Financial Services Committee with the semiannual visit of Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke.

In a scathing opening statement, Paul went on the offensive against the Fed:

“What we are witnessing today is the end stages of a grand experiment,” Paul said, adding that the Fed’s control over the nation’s money supply has directly caused economic bubbles and all but destroyed the purchasing power of the dollar.

Noting that the Fed will soon end because it is facilitating too much debt, the Congressman added “I’m anxiously waiting for this day… Reform has to come.”

I’ve been insanely busy lately, so I’m going to have to resort to news briefs for the short term.

Yes, indeed. Drudge actually put the Rasmussen figures on his front page today — with both Ron Paul and Mitt Romney winning against Obama in polling, while Santorum and Gingrich are the losers.

In the end, other than Ron Paul, they’re all losers because they don’t represent liberty and the Constitution and a return to all of the sound policies that made America a great nation.

In other news…

Ron Paul has been drawing massive crowds in Michigan.

What a fantastic job by Dr. Paul tonight! He was direct, assertive, plain-spoken and made sure he was heard on the issues.

He was also the only one tonight who talked about the CONSTITUTION. Wow! Imagine that — an American Presidential contest in which the only candidate TALKING about the Constitution is the candidate who is being treated as though he were coming from somewhere out of left field.

When did America stop caring about the Constitution?

We need to strip the Federal government of any powers not specifically deligated to it by the Constitution. The states need to reassert their own authority within the context of the powers that should belong to the states.

Our nation’s deficit could be cleared up in a hurry if we cut out entitlements, foreign aid and bloated government agencies. How much money do we throw out the window every day to bureaucratic nothingness?

I’m looking forward to seeing what the headlines will be about tonight’s debate. Will they fairly report Paul’s success tonight, or will they ignore him yet again and instead choose to prop up one of the establishment puppets?

We’ll see…

By Conor Murphy for the Washington Times:

WASHINGTON, January 22, 2012—Anyone who believes that Ron Paul’s foreign policy is a sign of weakness, or that he does not have the courage to defend this country, should talk to Dr. Paul’s military supporters. More than 1,500 supporters showed up at the march on the White House in support of Congressman Paul.

Among them were over 400 active duty or retired military members participating in the rally. None of them were timid about their support of the only military veteran in the race for the Presidency.

“We support him because he supports us!” exclaimed Corporal Jesse Thorton in his speech supporting Ron Paul. Echoing the theme of the march, Thorton also said, “Ron Paul is the choice of the troops.”

Paul’s supporters gathered at the Washington Monument and then marched to the White House with the troops in the lead. Those who provided proof of military service then fell into a formation facing away from the White House. The formation of over 400 troops stood at salute one second for every military victim of suicide while Obama has been President. This lasted for over eight minutes.

They then stood at parade rest in silent prayer for another 21 minutes to honor every troop who had died in combat during the Obama administration. When asked how he felt the march went, co-founder of Veterans for Ron Paul, Nathan Cox was very pleased. “I think it was awesome. We had over 400 troops in formation.”

Veterans for Ron Paul is not done planning events and preparing for activism. Asked what the group had planned next, Cox said that there were tentative plans to have troops march at the Republican National Convention in August, and organizers are asking troops to participate in other activities as well.

It’s been far too long since we’ve seen the candidates square off on the debating stage. I’m looking forward to seeing whether or not Ron Paul will be given a fair amount of time tonight, or if they’ll actively work to undermine his campaign by avoiding asking him questions.

I guess we’ll see…

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul bests President Obama in a head-to-head matchup in the state of Arizona according to a new NBC/ Marist Poll. Paul beats the President 43 percent to 41 percent among Arizona voters according to the poll.“Ron Paul is the only candidate for president who is taking our debt crisis seriously, and addresses it with his Plan to Restore America,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“Arizona voters, like voters across America, are sick and tired of speeches filled with broken promises, more debt, less jobs, and less economic stability. As President, Ron Paul will rein in the spending, reduce the debt, and put Americans back to work.”

The results are based on a telephone survey conducted February 19th and 20th with a random sample of 2,487 registered voters living in Arizona.

The full results of the poll can be found here.

This comes on the heels of a series of polls showing Paul leading President Obama in head-to-head matchups in Virginia, Iowa, and Ohio.
